Summary/Objective
We are seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join Harding Mazzotti, LLP’s team in Burlington, VT. This role is responsible for assisting lawyers in the pre-litigation stage of a variety of cases. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines. Please note that this is a full-time, on-site position with a 37.5-hour work week.
Essential Functions:
- Data entry into the firm’s electronic database and storage system
- Organize and maintain electronic database, storage system, and physical files
- Assist attorneys and case coordinators with the day-to-day handling of files and caseloads
- Communicate with clients by phone and email
- Communicate basic information with insurance adjusters via phone, email, and fax
