Summer 2026 - Link Summer Aide - Harding Avenue Elementary School

Montgomery County Public Schools in Virginia is accepting applications for a Link Summer Aide position that may be available at Harding Avenue Elementary School.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Summer Link Instructional Aide assists the Link program coordinator by working with elementary aged students on educational and enrichment activities. The aide works a flexible schedule in the summer months.

The hours of our summer program are from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
The summer program runs for 8 weeks on Monday through Friday from June 1 - July 24.
The position allows the aide to work up to 29 hours per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
? Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength
? Ability to cooperate with other staff members
? Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
? Dependability and punctuality required
? Ability to respond to emergencies in support of students and school operations
? Have the physical ability to repeatedly lift heavy objects (20 lbs.) as needed
? Ability to support school functions and community activities as deemed necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

? Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
? Possess the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
? Ability to be dependable and punctual

SALARY: $16.00 - $23.53 per hours; depending on experience

FLSA Status: Non exempt
