Role Description

This position is a remote, temporary, 1099 litigation focused position. As a Paralegal at HARDING & ASSOCIATES, P.C., you will provide critical support to our legal team by preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and file cases with the courts as needed. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with attorneys, assisting in pleading preparation, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring deadlines are met efficiently. Compensation for this role is based on litigation experience, but will fall between $30-$40 an hour. This position is expected to last three months while our in office paralegal is on maternity leave.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of personal injury law and understanding of legal principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and expertise in Document Review.
• Strong Communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients.
• Research skills to gather and analyze legal information and case details.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work under strict deadlines.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Prevail, the case management software we utilize in our firm.
