Summary/Scope
The Simulation Lab & Clinical Teaching Assistant at Hardin-Simmons School of Nursing plays a key role in delivering high-quality, experiential learning opportunities for nursing students. This hybrid position is primarily responsible for supporting the simulation lab and its operations while also assisting the program faculty with the supervision of students during clinical learning experiences. The role combines hands-on technical support, student instruction, and collaboration with faculty to enhance clinical reasoning and practical skill development. Working under the supervision of a Master's or doctoral-prepared nursing faculty member, this position provides technical operations and support for the Simulation & Skills Lab, including preparing and maintaining equipment, staging learning environments, assisting faculty during skills and simulation sessions, and ensuring lab safety, inventory, and smooth daily operations.
