Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Savannah, TN, for a Nursing Director of Emergency Services. The Nursing Director will oversee the clinical, operational, and administrative functions of the Emergency Services department. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets, developing and implementing programs to enhance patient care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient safety and quality care. The role includes collaboration with other departments, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to achieve department and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Emergency Services and Emergency Nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality, patient-centered care
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nursing and Medicine practices, particularly in acute and emergency settings
- Experience in Program Development, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare initiatives
- Strong leadership and management capabilities, including staff supervision and team collaboration
- Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations and commitment to compliance and safety standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field (Master's Degree preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably in emergency services
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
