School Bus Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to educate passengers about safety protocols and routes. A background in commercial driving, particularly with school buses or senior care transportation, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus, ensuring the safety of all passengers during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules.
• Educate passengers on safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist passengers as needed, including seniors or individuals with disabilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving is required; school bus driving experience is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, especially those fluent in English and another language.
• Familiarity with senior care transportation is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation and maintenance is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse passenger groups.
