Job Overview
Hardin County Honda is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our Service Department.
We are a family-owned dealership that has proudly served our community since 1977. We're looking for a knowledgeable, motivated professional who understands dealership service operations, delivers excellent customer service, and can confidently manage the service process from start to finish.
This position requires previous hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and professionally address their vehicle service needs.
- Write and manage repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs.
- Communicate effectively with technicians and customers.
- Provide accurate service estimates and explain repair recommendations.
- Keep customers updated on repair status and timelines.
- Manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced service environment.
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Meet department performance and customer service goals.
Skills
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer is REQUIRED.
- Experience working in a franchised automotive dealership strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of automotive maintenance, repairs, and service procedures.
- Experience writing repair orders and recommending services.
- Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy service department.
- Comfortable using dealership management software.
- Dependable, organized, and professional.
- Valid driver's license.
