About Us:
We are a locally operated company that handles billing and customer service for mandatory trash collection service. Our small, friendly office is dedicated to delivering efficient, respectable service to our community. We’re currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with questions regarding billing and services
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Post incoming payments, including checks and wire transfers
- Process cash payments and provide accurate change and receipts
- Enter new customer information and service starts into our system
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date account records
- Assist with preparing and reviewing daily reports
- Support other administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry
- Comfortable handling cash and performing basic math
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in customer service or office setting
- Familiarity with billing or utility services (a plus, but not required)
Pay: $13.00 per hour
