Position Summary: Supervises employees who transport cargo to and from specified locations.
What you'll do:
- Oversees the loading and unloading of company vehicles.
- Schedules drivers and assigns routes to maximize productivity.
- A level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
- Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes.
- Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
- May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty.
- Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
- Requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
