ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be proficient in installing, maintaining, repairing, dismantling and moving many types of machinery and equipment in industrial settings according to layout plans, blueprints and other drawings.
• Able to identify various types of machinery and understand their working operations.
• Able to problem solve and adjust as needed.
• Ability to work with others to achieve job goals.
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions as required by client and/or facility policy.

PREFERED CERTIFICATIONS INCLUDE

• OSHA 10 or 30 for General Industry and Construction
• Rigging Certification
• Crane Certification
• CDL-A
• Alignment Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Acceptable eyesight – naturally or with correction.
• Eye-hand coordination.
• Good physical fitness.
• Good sense of balance.
• Work at great heights is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Operate and maintain precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and crane operation protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and provide technical support as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
