Our client, a fast-growing private equity-owned food manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on, high-potential finance leader to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional to step into a broad, impactful role.
This is not a traditional corporate finance position. The VP of Finance will be eager to roll up their sleeves, work cross-functionally, and help drive the business forward in a highly operational, manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with leadership to support day-to-day financial operations and strategic decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
- Own financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
- Build and enhance KPIs, dashboards, and financial visibility across the business
- Drive margin improvement through cost accounting, pricing analysis, and operational insights
- Analyze customer, product, and channel profitability to support growth and decision-making
- Improve cash flow forecasting and working capital management
- Oversee and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial accuracy
- Partner with external stakeholders, including lenders, auditors, and advisors
- Support strategic initiatives, including capital planning, investments, and potential M&A activity
- Work closely with operations and spend time on the floor to understand cost drivers and processes
- Help evolve systems and processes, including ERP alignment and reporting tools
- Support audit processes and continue to improve financial rigor over time

- Background in manufacturing (food or CPG preferred)
- Strong foundation in FP&A and cost accounting

EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- MBA and CPA Preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing accounting staff.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
