Job Overview

Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure healthy, vibrant turf
- Maintain landscape features including planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower arrangements with precision and care
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for trimming, pruning, planting, and general landscape maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation or hardscape installation projects
- Install and repair irrigation systems to promote optimal water distribution across landscapes
- Assist with hardscape projects including patio installation, walkway construction, retaining walls, and other masonry work
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with the use of landscaping hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators or trimmers is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting will be advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety standards
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and hardscape installation
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques in landscaping and construction
