STARTING SALARY UP TO $65,000/YEAR BONUS POTENTIAL!
Westar Foods, Inc. owns and operates over 30 Hardee’s restaurants throughout the Midwest, and we are continuing to grow! We are seeking experienced, motivated, and results-driven General Managers to lead restaurant operations and develop high-performing teams.
Salary range is $48,000 to $65,000 per year depending on experience, plus bonus potential.
Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, including sales growth, profitability, staffing, training, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence. Successful candidates will lead by example while creating a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, hire, and develop restaurant staff
- Schedule team members to support guest service and speed of service standards
- Manage labor and payroll costs to company expectations
- Train, coach, and develop shift managers and crew members
- Provide performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary
- Lead team meetings focused on operations, safety, training, and recognition
- Maintain proper inventory levels and control food and supply costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversee cash handling and ensure all cash control procedures are followed
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment standards
- Analyze P&L performance and drive operational improvements
- Deliver exceptional guest service and model professional behavior at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years recent experience as a General Manager in a quick-service restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing labor, scheduling, inventory, and restaurant financials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
