What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Hardee Family Medicine?
Multi provider Family Practice looking for a CMA/RMA to become a long-time member of our team. We are seeking a compassionate self-motivated team player that is able to work independently and well with others. Attendance and timeliness is imperative to our small practice. Responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining vitals and complaints. POCT per providers orders. Screenings and treatments. Venipuncture, and lab order & EKGs. Immunizations on adults as well as children is a MUST. Accurately enter all information in Epic EMR system. Monitor inventory for supplies and medications. Oversee all VFC protocols and documentation. . Keeping documents and OSHA compliant. You will also be required to be able to schedule appointments, help on phones when needed and on occasion, check patients in or out.
CMA-certification MUST be up to date. BLS a plus. Experience in the EPIC system a plus. 2-4 Years experience is preferred. We offer Medical Benefits, 401K, Holidays and PTO time. Hours will be from 8AM-5PM. Monday thru Friday.
