We are seeking a passionate Mat Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with members to help them achieve their fitness and health goals through customized training programs and exceptional customer service. As a Pilates Instructor you will:
- Lead safe, effective, and engaging group Pilates classes for up to 16 clients.
- Clearly communicate verbal cues and movement directions to guide participants through exercises.
- Provide appropriate modifications and progressions to meet the individual needs of clients within a group setting.
- Incorporate props and equipment into class flows to enhance engagement and results.
- Encourage and support clients in achieving personal health and fitness goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space; assist with cleaning and equipment upkeep as needed.
- Demonstrate proper technique and exercises, including bending, lifting, and performing physical movements.
- Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and professional standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Must remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Strong knowledge of exercise science and fitness, with demonstrated ability to perform and teach training movements.
- Proven ability to motivate and instruct clients with varying fitness levels.
- Basic understanding of nutrition and its role in fitness and weight loss.
- Ability to connect and communicate with diverse client groups in a corporate gym environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education certification or equivalent.
- Experience teaching group equipment-based Pilates classes.
- Additional certifications or experience in other fitness disciplines (e.g., yoga, barre, personal training) a plus.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
