Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and working with a team to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in retail sales, and the ability to effectively manage customers and emloyees.
Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Hiring, coaching, scheduling, and disciplining employees, along with ensuring excellent customer service and enforcing store policies.
- Operations: Overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing inventory levels, maintaining store appearance, and handling daily operational procedures like opening and closing routines.
- Sales and Customer Service: Providing prompt and courteous customer service, resolving customer complaints, and assisting the manager with in-store promotions and displays.
- Inventory and Merchandising: Ensuring adequate stock levels, keeping shelves clean and well-stocked, and assisting with inventory management.
- Support to Store Manager: Aiding the store manager in achieving sales targets and handling various managerial duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a retail environment.
- Dram shop, retail liquor, and ID experience.
- Knowledge of liquor store products/ invoices/ and freight.
- Familiarity with retail Point of Sale concepts essential for effective inventory control and sales analysis.
- Strong customer service skills with a proven track record in retail sales environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary, leading by example.
- Experience with leadership and strong work ethic.

- Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat
- 3-10 pm

Projected Total Compensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
