What are the responsibilities and job description for the Box Office Representative position at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi?
Responsibilities:
- Assists guests with ticket needs; distribute will-call as needed.
- Answers questions concerning upcoming entertainment at Hard Rock Live.
- Operates ticket reservations system and other in-house computer based systems used in the area.
- Processes and distributes complimentary ticket orders.
- Obtains tickets as requested, computes bills, gives proper change and/or obtains signatures as needed.
- Handles cash, cash equivalents, and all paperwork in accordance with Company policies.
- Removes, records, and turns in amount of cash in register at end of shift, with necessary paperwork.
- Balances ticket reservations system and other in house computer-based systems as required at the end of shift.
- Promotes outstanding guest relations.
Competencies:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
- Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people.
- Must have the ability to have fun while on duty!
- Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Experience
Preferred- Background in money handling skills.
- Casino experience recommended but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
Education
