The Count Team Member is responsible for collecting, sorting, counting, and recording of gaming results as well as the overall operation of the soft count room and currency counting equipment
Essential Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Records Cash drop
- Verifies documentation removed from drop boxes with information recorded on master game worksheet
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
- Responsible for the transportation of departmental wheeled carts to and from secured locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, minimum one (1) year cash handling experience preferred, ideally in the casino or banking industry
- Strong cash handling and counting skills.
- Must have proficient basic math skills with ten key experiences.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Meticulous, organized and accurate
- Extreme confidentiality.
- Familiarity with a variety of computer systems and applications.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
- Manage multiple details and tasks concurrently in a changing environment.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
