Under the direction of the Floor Supervisor, a Dealer responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. The incumbent is also responsible for the delivery of Customer Service standards, while maintaining the integrity of the games. During Dealer School, you will learn how to be a successful Table Games Dealer with Hard Rock Casino Rockford.

Essential Functions

- Learn the functions of a Table Games Dealer.
- Learn the responsibility for dealing an assigned game in accordance with established policy and procedures
- Learn to create an atmosphere for guests to make Hard Rock their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
- Learn to provides game security and protects Company assets by always facing games and being able to recreate bets/situations when necessary.
- Learn to be responsible for handling all monies (bankrolls, payoffs, come and prop bets, making change and check handling) accurately in games.
- Learn to verbalize all aspects of the game including answering questions regarding other games and the property.
- Attend seminars when needed.

High School Diploma required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
- Must be able to learn to deal Blackjack with a high level of proficiency.
- Must be able to successfully pass a timed math test.
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission.
- Must successfully pass background check.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Hard Rock operations.
- Policies and procedures as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Solve practical math problems and deal with a variety of situations.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
