FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Promotes quality customer service and processes sales and registration transactions. Acts as the first point of contact for potential and current Goldfish customers, and is responsible for presenting a positive image for the company. Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Certificates and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (Training Provided)
Work Environment: While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
Full time is carrying a yearly schedule of 36 hours. Additional benefits include: 40 hours PTO in addition to EST, Paid holidays if they fall on a day you would work (NY Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and NYE), $100 monthly stipend toward your medical insurance with monthly receipt. All benefits are offered after 90 days of employment.

Each franchisee can set their own wages, benefit programs and terms and conditions of employment, which may vary at each Goldfish Swim School location.

- Answers telephones, responds to inquiries, takes messages and screens and directs phone calls in a professional manner.
- Processes student registrations using effective sales/customer service techniques.
- Resolves customer concerns/complaints using a professional approach.
- Assists members with purchases of merchandise and vending
- Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
- Evaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills.
- Acts as a GSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction.
- Reports accidents and incidents to management. Completes required documentation and paperwork.
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.
