Harchuck Construction, a well-established General Contractor specializing in commercial construction projects throughout the Northeast, is seeking a motivated Bid Procurement Assistant to join our Estimating Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact subcontractors and suppliers to invite them to bid on commercial construction projects.
- Maintain and update subcontractor databases and bid invitation lists.
- Assist the Estimating and Project Management teams with clerical and administrative duties.
- Organize and track bid documentation and incoming proposals.
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up with trade partners.
- Help coordinate pre-bid efforts and support bid day activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong professional phone communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general spreadsheet management.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Prior experience in a construction or administrative setting is a plus but not required.
