Job Description
The scheduling coordinator is responsible for accurately maintaining care staff schedules to meet the needs of the community. The scheduling coordinator must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to multi-task in our fast paced community.
This is staffing scheduling position. This is not a clinic/resident appointment scheduling position.
Our Scheduling Coordinator is:
Dependable- - more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented
- - enjoys working with Staff and Managers to assure the scheduling needs of the community Adaptable/flexible
- - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
Responsibilities:
- Monitor schedules daily to ensure each building is properly staffed
- Contact caregivers to fill shifts, implement shift changes and communicate assignment changes to caregivers
- Schedule candidate interviews
Experience:
- 1-2 years staff scheduling experience in a healthcare setting preferred
