What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Harbour Salon and Spa?
We are searching for a friendly, bubbly and flexible person to join our salon and spa family. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will schedule appointments quickly and efficiently, you will answer questions about services, you will be confident answering phones and juggling multiple phone lines. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
This position will require you to work between both locations when needed (Wilmington & Hampstead )
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate service provider
- Scheduling technicians appropriately
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Help with folding laundry and other simple housekeeping task
- Open or close salon and spa

- High school degree; experience scheduling is a plus
