Duties
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers while adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and overall health status.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, following infection control procedures.
- Engage with residents to promote their physical and emotional well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living or memory care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs is essential.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical documentation practices.
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and safety measures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing high-quality patient care.
