What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Harbour Cottage Inn?
Dishwasher:
The Bowsprit Bar at Harbour Cottage Inn in Southwest Harbor, ME is looking to hire a dishwasher for the rest of the 2026 season (July to late October). We are looking for conscientious, hardworking team members who have a great attitude and good availability. We are a small team so every member counts. Team members will be able to work independently as well as assist wherever is needed. The Bowprit Bar is open to the public Thursday - Monday 4-8pm. Dishwashing hours would be 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Great second job!
As a dishwasher, your daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
-Keep dish pit clean and sanitized
-Put away all dishes promptly
-Mopping floors at the end of the shift
-Occassionally assisting line cook with shucking oysters, making flatbreads, etc.
