The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated Activity Director
What You Will Do
Plan, organize, and lead engaging activities including live entertainment, off-site daytrips that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being for residents.
Develop individualized activity plans that cater to the unique needs of residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Collaborate with staff to ensure activities align with residents' preferences and abilities.
Manage schedules for group activities while accommodating individual needs and preferences.
Facilitate recreational therapy sessions aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life.
Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes related to activities.
Duties as assigned
What You Must Have
Certified Activities Professional certification preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
