About Us

Harborview Restaurant & Bar is a Michelin-recognized Cantonese restaurant offering refined cuisine, elevated hospitality, and panoramic Bay views. We are looking for professional, guest-focused servers to join our Front of House team.

Position: Server

Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to every guest
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Guide guests through menu items, specials, and recommendations
• Coordinate with bussers, food runners, and captains to ensure seamless service
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain table maintenance, cleanliness, and overall dining room flow
• Manage payments and handle guest concerns with professionalism
• Uphold Harborview’s elevated hospitality standards at all times

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate with customers in English and/or Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
• Minimum 1 year serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Strong knowledge of customer service and hospitality etiquette
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume environment
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and team-first mentality
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• 能於繁忙環境中同時處理多項任務
• 工作態度積極、專業、具團隊精神
• 需能配合週末及節假日班次
• 能長時間站立及搬動約 25 磅物品

Harborview Restaurant & Bar was founded in 2018 by a team of culinary and hospitality professionals led by Mr. Kinson Wong, the original founder, owner and mastermind behind the world-renowned R&G Lounge in San Francisco (1985 - 2018). With the vision and dream of creating high quality, authentic Cantonese Chinese cuisine in this beautifully elevated space, Harborview's founding principle is that a restaurant can only be successful and sustainable with teamwork.
