The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dietary Manager
What You Will Do
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the food service department
- Ensure proper preparation and service of therapeutic diets in compliance with physician orders and regulatory standards
- Plan and adjust menus to meet the nutritional needs of residents, including consultant review and follow-up on dietary recommendations
- Monitor and assess resident weights upon admission, monthly, and during any significant change in condition
- Set and manage performance standards for food service delivery, optimizing efficiency, quality, and satisfaction
- Ensure proper resource planning, cost control, and operational processes within the department
- Supervise and support dietary staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and hospitality
- Duties as assigned
What You Must Have
- Prior experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, regulatory dietary standards, and infection control procedures
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent food safety certification
- Certified Dietary Manager or equivalent
