Duties of Activities Assistant:
- Assist Activity Department with daily programs for residents based on individual residents' needs, abilities, and interests
- Running the daily activities based on the monthly calendar
- Transporting residents to and from activities
- Assist residents with daily activities to promote residents' highest functional level
- Be patient and sensitive to the residents' needs
- Must be comfortable working with memory loss/dementia
- Maintain attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis
- Assist with the seasonal decor of the facility
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning up after parties and programs
- Other duties assigned by Activity Supervisor
Requirements for Activities Assistant:
- Must have a cheerful and positive attitude
- Knowledge of PointClickCare
Activities Assistants may start as early as NEXT WEEK!
