Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing various flooring types to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents’ or clients’ requests promptly and professionally
- Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety standards
- Handle janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating team efforts for larger projects
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, sanitation procedures, and laundry operations
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Prior hotel housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning tools and methods enhances your versatility in this role
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of cleanliness
