Job description:
Harborlight Montessori is seeking a long term substitute assistant teacher to support a lead teacher in one of our Lower Elementary classrooms (Grs. 1-3) for the Months of January and February (8:30-4:30). Assistant Teachers play an important role in maintaining a safe, caring, and engaging environment when regular teachers are away.
Flexibility, reliability, and a warm presence with children are key. Montessori experience is not required — we will provide guidance and support — but an openness to our child-centered philosophy is essential. Prior classroom or childcare experience is preferred.
