Harborcreek Youth Services is looking for dedicated Child Care Counselors to become vital mentors for at-risk male adolescents. This position is an ideal fit for anyone who has previously worked as or aspires to be a Social Worker, Child Counselor, Teen Mentor, or Human Services Professional.

Your Impact Every Day:
- Provide direct, trauma-informed care and mentorship to youth navigating behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Lead interactive, participatory training to help residents build everyday life and social skills.
- Deliver proactive, preventive counseling and real-time crisis intervention.
- Support health, nutrition, and structured daily routines to build a stable, therapeutic community.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience working with youth in a therapeutic, recreational, or educational environment is a strong plus.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Requirements: Must be able to work 2nd shift. Current PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI Fingerprint clearances are required upon hire.
- Safety Screening: To ensure our environment remains safe for the youth we serve, all candidates complete The Diana Screen® (a brief 30-minute screening tool) during our interview process.
