What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Server Assistant (Food Runner, Busser) position at HARBOR VIEW HOTEL?
What we are looking for:
Someone who has a desire to help others by providing exceptional customer service to our guests and takes pride in your work. We also want you to enjoy being part of a team with other hardworking, down-to-earth professionals.
What you will do:
- Transport and clear all used tableware from the dining room to dishwashing area
- Prepare the table for resetting and promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed
- Fold napkins for all meal periods throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply
- Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments.
- Assists other Restaurant Personnel when need.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
What we ask of you:
- High energy, exceptional customer service and ability to work as a team
- Proficient verbal communication skills and ability to read instructions on a computer app.
- Commitment to work 20-40 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to repetitively stand, walk, bend, kneel, and ascend and descend stairs and lift over 20 pounds
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
