Harbor Shores Cleaning Company is looking for a dependable, motivated Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead and support our evening commercial cleaning team.

We have an awesome team and are looking to add another strong supervisor to our evening operations.

This is a working supervisor position. You won't spend your shift sitting behind a desk. You'll be in the field supporting technicians, checking quality, training employees, solving problems, managing evening communication, supporting our Operations Manager, and stepping in to clean when your team needs help.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, communicates well, and understands that being a great supervisor means leading by example.

What You'll Do

As our Commercial Cleaning Supervisor, you will help oversee our evening commercial accounts and cleaning technicians.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and support commercial cleaning technicians during the evening shift
• Monitor and manage evening communication with our technicians
• Respond to technician questions, concerns, and issues throughout the shift
• Help coordinate daily assignments and make sure accounts are properly staffed
• Respond to call-offs and unexpected staffing or scheduling changes
• Provide operational support to our Operations Manager
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure company cleaning standards are being followed
• Train and coach new and existing technicians
• Provide clear feedback when something needs to be corrected
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, professionalism, and reliability
• Communicate important employee or client concerns to management
• Make sure technicians have the supplies, equipment, and information needed to complete their work
• Troubleshoot equipment, access, alarm, key, or building issues
• Communicate professionally with commercial clients when needed
• Document issues, inspections, employee concerns, and important shift information
• Help ensure buildings are secured properly at the end of service
• Step in and clean accounts when additional support or coverage is needed
• Help keep the evening operation organized and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

We need someone who is comfortable being responsible for the shift, supporting our technicians, and making reasonable day-to-day decisions—not someone who waits for management to solve every routine problem.

A great fit for this position is someone who:

• Is dependable and punctual
• Has previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Has commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, facilities, or similar experience
• Is comfortable coaching and directing employees
• Can make reasonable decisions when plans unexpectedly change
• Notices quality issues and addresses them
• Communicates professionally with employees, clients, and management
• Can work independently without constant supervision
• Is comfortable using a smartphone and company communication apps
• Can manage multiple buildings, employees, and priorities
• Is available to participate in a rotating weekend schedule
• Isn't afraid to jump in and help the team
• Takes ownership and follows through

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates must be able to perform commercial cleaning duties throughout the shift, including standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting cleaning supplies and equipment, vacuuming, mopping, and performing other routine janitorial duties.

Schedule & Pay

Primary Evening Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
$20.00–$23.00/hour based on experience

Harbor Shores Cleaning Company operates 7 days per week, and weekend availability is required for this supervisory position.

This position will participate in a rotating Saturday and/or Sunday schedule. Weekend schedules offer more flexibility with start times and will vary based on our cleaning schedule and operational needs.

Some additional flexibility may occasionally be needed based on staffing, client needs, or special projects.
