Responsibilities
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick beverage products according to order specifications.
- Operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform order fulfillment tasks including picking, packing, stocking, and preparing shipments for distribution.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by ensuring proper documentation and quality control of incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting stock counts and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Engage in mechanical knowledge tasks related to heavy equipment operation and troubleshooting as needed.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in distribution or beverage industries.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is a plus.
- Familiarity with order picker equipment, reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks is essential.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with picking & packing processes.
- Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership roles can be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
