Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven, performance-focused Account Executive to lead and expand the Northeast territory, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey.
This role carries responsibility for both managing an assigned portfolio of existing hospitality accounts and generating meaningful new business across the territory. The expectation is growth. The Northeast, particularly New York City, is one of the most competitive hospitality markets in the country. The successful candidate must be comfortable prospecting aggressively, developing pipeline consistently, gaining access to decision makers, and converting competitive accounts.
This is a field-intensive role requiring disciplined territory management, strong activity levels, and the ability to drive measurable revenue growth. The individual in this role will be accountable for achieving and exceeding annual sales plans through both retention and new account acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a structured territory growth strategy that drives revenue expansion across all assigned states, with strong in-market presence in key metropolitan areas including New York City.
- Achieve annual sales plan inclusive of both existing account growth and new business acquisition targets.
- Aggressively prospect new hospitality accounts through outbound calls, in-person visits, networking events, industry research, and strategic market analysis.
- Identify competitive accounts within the territory and proactively pursue conversion opportunities to increase market share.
- Maintain a consistent and measurable new business pipeline sufficient to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
- Drive share of wallet expansion within existing accounts through proactive account planning, cross-category selling, and strategic upselling initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors of Housekeeping, General Managers, Purchasing leaders, management companies, and ownership groups.
- Utilize CRM to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, track activity levels, and maintain disciplined territory management.
- Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, customer service, and leadership to ensure seamless execution from order placement through invoicing.
- Communicate order status, pricing execution, cash management processes, and inventory allocation professionally and efficiently.
- Represent the company at trade shows, brand events, and industry functions to expand brand visibility and generate new opportunities.
- Accountable for managing expense budgets including T&E, promotional expenses, rebates, incentives, and trade show participation.
- Travel throughout the territory to maintain strong field presence and direct customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Must reside within commuting distance to New York City by train (no flight-based commuters).
- Highly motivated and professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytic and business analysis skills. Comfortable using data to drive decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Skilled at Consultive Selling with outstanding sales and negotiation abilities.
- Highly confident, competitive and goal oriented.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time managements skills.
- Travel 60% in territory as well as out of territory to attend meetings and trade shows.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience showing demonstrated growth in responsibilities and career progression in a B2B customer focus sales environment.
- Experience calling on Hospitality Accounts required. (Linen/textile sales experience preferred)
- Experience managing a multi-state portfolio of accounts
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics is preferred)

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
