Harbor Light Oral Surgery is looking for an experienced Patient Coordinator / Call Center Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who already has dental or medical office experience and is ready to bring that skill set into a fast-paced, high-call-volume oral surgery referral practice.
This isn't an entry-level customer service role — you'll be the first voice new referral patients hear, often during stressful or urgent situations, and you'll need to bring confidence, accuracy, and genuine care to every call.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Enjoy an early close every Friday at 2:00 PM
What You’ll Do
- Answer incoming calls with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
- Collect and verify patient demographic information
- Schedule appointments accurately
- Provide clear pre-operative instructions
- Respond to patient questions and concerns with care and confidence
- Work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to support smooth patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of medical or dental office experience required — candidates without this background will not be considered
- Experience with dental/medical practice management software
- Comfort handling a high call volume and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- A positive, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
