Position Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Leads a team of Property Damage adjusters and Total loss adjusters (currently 6 positions) and ensures effective training, execution of claim management procedures, and compliance to regulatory and company standards and policies.
· Provides feedback and ongoing development of each adjuster, including documentation and conducting annual performance reviews.
· Ensures each Property Damage adjuster maintains accurate and comprehensive files, with proactive engagement and timely follow-up with all stakeholders.
· Engages in the resolution of complex issues, escalated complaints, and other challenges.
· Build and maintain positive business relationships and ensures highest level of service from both Property Damage and Total Loss adjusters.
· Ensures that Total Loss adjusters promptly confirm that vehicles have been released and picked up by our salvage vendor.
· Ensures that Total Loss adjusters accurately evaluate the value of each total loss and apply the appropriate condition rating and prior unrelated damage deduction.
· Review and approve drafts in the Manager’s absence.
· Communicate, report, and escalate issues to Claims Manager as necessary to advise on complex matters.
· Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, state law and regulations, and company policies and standards.
· Assess and recommend areas for improvement and actively engage in process improvement projects or activities as assigned.
· Back-up and support team members as needed to ensure a high-functioning department and consistent success in achieving goals and outcomes.
· Other duties as may be assigned by the Claims Manager.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Oklahoma Adjuster License required or ability to acquire within 60 days of employment.
- Depth of experience as a claims adjuster or similar role.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and industry- standard web applications.

Pay range:
Starting compensation $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience
