Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech therapy sessions with patients, assessing their communication and swallowing skills, and developing personalized treatment plans to achieve their goals
- Utilize evidence-based practices and technologies to deliver high-quality care and maximize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient results
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress reports to ensure patients' treatment plans are on track
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Participate in patient education and family support to promote empowerment and independence
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and research to refine therapy techniques and services
- 0 years of experience as a Speech Therapist (entry-level candidates welcome!)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Indiana
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
