Cannabis Cultivation Technician

Harbor Farmz is looking to add a few new Cultivation Techs to our already great crew. Applicants must carry a good attitude and work well with others and must be willing to do things the Harbor Farmz way. Must be willing to take direction and work hard and show up on time on your scheduled days of work.

The Cultivation Technician is responsible for executing daily work responsibilities throughout the cultivation department to ensure garden health is prioritized and standard operating procedures are adhered to. Communication with the Director of Cultivation and other team members will be critical to ensure cultivation responsibilities are handled to assist all other efforts of the company. The Cultivation Technician should constantly engage with the cannabis community to understand changes in cultivation technology/methodologies and help incorporate best practices into Harbor Farmz processes to both maximize production capabilities and contribute towards our reputation as a producer of high-quality cannabis products.

Responsibilities

• Work in all aspects of cannabis cultivation, including propagation, vegetative and flowering growing stages
• Defol, lollipopping, harvesting, potting plants, lots of cleaning
• Cleaning up all grow rooms pre and post harvest (this job requires a lot of cleaning)
• Triple-tier racking for veg and flower will require squatting, kneeling, and standing in a man-lift for an extended period of time
• Maintain garden health throughout the cultivation department and work in a collaborative fashion with the Director of Cultivation and other team members to prioritize garden health at all times
• Support company-wide production efforts through adherence to crop scheduling and standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with CRA regulations adhered to at all times
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines while working in the cultivation facility to ensure a safe working environment for employees and compliance with regulations and SOPs.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Applying pesticides and fungicides as required by the Director of Cultivation
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Cultivation and Cultivation Lead(s)
• Cleaning and sanitation of the cultivation facility and equipment

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
