Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Staff Accountant located in Fort Worth, TX. The Staff Accountant will oversee financial transactions, assist with accounting processes, manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulations. The role also includes reconciling bank statements, budgeting, and supporting audits to ensure sound financial operations within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliation processes
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial statements
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to prepare accurate reports
- Expertise with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Communicates effectively and collaborates well within a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience (preferred)
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
- Experience in the manufacturing or steel fabrication industry is advantageous
