Duties
- Implement comprehensive hip hop dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Lead engaging dance classes that incorporate choreography, rhythm exercises, and performance techniques
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse needs
- Provide positive constructive feedback to students on their technique, performance, and artistic development
- Support student end of year performances or showcases to highlight their progress
Experience
- Proven experience in teaching hip hop dance
- Strong background in choreography and dance instruction
- Experience working with children or youth programs, demonstrating patience and effective classroom management skills
