Harbor Care is seeking a Residential Cook to join our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program in Nashua, NH. This is a unique opportunity for a culinary professional who wants more than a typical kitchen role—you’ll have full ownership of the kitchen while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
In this role, you’ll prepare daily lunch and dinner for approximately 30 residents in a structured residential program. You’ll be the sole culinary lead, with full creative and operational control—no front-of-house, no late nights, no weekends, and no holidays.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of culinary or restaurant experience
- Strong experience cooking for larger groups (30–40 people)
- ServSafe Certification (required)
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Experience with meal planning and budgeting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license (occasional use of company vehicle for food runs)
- Experience working independently in a kitchen environment
- Comfort managing vendors and negotiating food purchasing
- Passion for mission-driven work and supporting individuals in recovery
