Acquisition Analyst

Harbor Capital is hiring an Acquisitions Analyst to support our investment strategy across Texas industrial real estate. The role offers direct exposure to the full deal lifecycle, with guidance from senior team members but an expectation of strong personal ownership. You’ll underwrite deals, navigate and update detailed financial models, manage checklists, and drive the creation of internal and external materials, from investment committee memos to market research and execution deliverables. Responsibilities

• Underwrite industrial real estate acquisitions using detailed financial models
• Prepare internal investment memos, deal decks, and decision-making materials
• Build and maintain market comp databases and submarket research summaries
• Operate within established financial models to input assumptions, run scenarios, and analyze returns
• Support the closing process by ordering third-party reports, tracking checklists, and coordinating with brokers, sellers, title, legal, and lenders to satisfy all closing requirements
• Create and manage checklists to ensure process consistency and execution readiness
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders, legal, and internal stakeholders through due diligence and closing
• Support site tours, zoning reviews, and development feasibility assessments
• Track the acquisitions pipeline and deliver reporting updates for weekly investment team meetings
• Respond quickly and accurately to ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or other related field
• 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate investments
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel; experience with Argus and other underwriting tools is a plus
• Organized with exceptional attention to detail and a diligent work ethic. Capable of taking initiative and assisting on multiple ongoing projects and priorities simultaneously
• The right candidate absolutely must have the ability and willingness to create formal, documented systems and policies. If you prefer to follow instructions instead of creating them, this job is not for you
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

• This position is in our office in Austin, TX
• Some travel required: <20%
