Role Overview: Are you ready to drive innovation in AI/ML engineering while mastering project management in one of the world's most dynamic cities? Join Harbor.ai as an AI/ML Engineer & Project Manager, based in New York City. You'll lead the charge in developing cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms, collaborating with diverse teams to uncover new business horizons and deliver bespoke AI solutions. Your role will also involve crafting seamless data-driven workflows alongside data scientists and software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms to revolutionize insurance program management.
• Architect and execute machine learning pipelines in collaboration with software engineering teams.
• Act as a pivotal link between engineering and operations, ensuring flawless project execution, transparent communication, and alignment with client goals.
• Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of insurance projects, ensuring every milestone exceeds expectations.
• Engage directly with clients to distill requirements, simplify technical complexities, and ensure project outcomes are precisely tailored.
• Provide comprehensive progress reports, coordinate seamlessly across departments, and optimize resource allocation strategies.
• Spearhead training initiatives to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among internal and external stakeholders, paving the way for continuous innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mastery of Python
• Extensive experience with leading machine learning frameworks
• Deep understanding of cutting-edge AI techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies (AWS) for scalable AI solutions.
• Proven expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges.
• Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within dynamic team environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for making technical concepts accessible and engaging.
