Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling machines, and paving equipment with precision and safety.
• Assist with site preparation by clearing land, grading surfaces, and leveling areas to meet project specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Support construction activities by loading/unloading materials and assisting with excavation, trenching, and other groundwork tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently while working on active construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment operation hours, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for operating large vehicles like dump trucks or tankers.
• Construction site experience is highly desirable; familiarity with safety standards is essential.
• Ability to operate specialized machinery such as Caterpillar equipment or horizontal drilling rigs is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, water trucking, and horizontal drilling techniques.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
