What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Packer position at Harbar LLC?
Reports to:
Production Supervisor
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible to point out and participate to obtain efficiencies/product quality and safety improvements.
- Check Bag Sealers for function and cleanliness.
- Sanitize all the Equipment (Count Stacker, Bagger, Accumulation table, Cooling Conveyor Discharge).
- Set up the Correct Messages for the bags, Check the correct bag is being used, set up the box printer, Choose the correct box message for the product.
- Prepare pallets according to pallet configuration and tag pallets as needed, lift up to 50-60lbs.
- Maintain area clean and clear of Hazards following the 5S Standards.
- Clean up and putting Boxes and Bags back to there original locations and switched off machines as needed.
- Take cripples and garbage to corresponding dumpster.
- Cut Chips and prepare area for work: pull and push racks, lift trays, etc.
- Cover breaks or any other duties following lead person instructions.
- Check the Production Schedule
- Select the Packaging Plates (Information) according to the product
- Fill out form Finish Goods Distribution Tab
- Sign-out & in form for utensils
