Senior MSAT Engineer

Overview

The Senior MSAT Engineer is responsible for supporting the commercialization and lifecycle management of oral solid dose (OSD) pharmaceutical products within a fully integrated manufacturing site. This role focuses on process ownership, technical transfer, and continuous improvement across commercial operations.

The position serves as a key technical resource across Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation, ensuring processes are robust, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements. This individual will play a critical role in supporting ongoing site expansion, new product introductions, and optimization of existing processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical transfer activities (receiving and sending) for OSD products across internal and external manufacturing sites.
• Support process scale-up and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, PPQ) to ensure successful commercialization and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive process investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA for manufacturing deviations and performance issues.
• Provide hands-on technical support for OSD unit operations, including wet granulation, blending, compression, and coating.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Engineering to ensure alignment on process performance and compliance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process robustness, efficiency, and product quality.
• Support new product introductions and ongoing lifecycle management activities at the site.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.

Job Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with a focus on technical transfer of OSD products.
• Experience in commercialization-stage manufacturing or internal site transfers is preferred.
