Biological Research Associate

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiology techniques including aseptic technique, microbial culture, plating, and colony analysis
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
• Analyze experimental data and assist with interpretation of results
• Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks or electronic systems
• Prepare reagents, buffers, media, and solutions according to established protocols
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), biosafety guidelines, and institutional safety regulations
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining laboratory organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support senior researchers on complex projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• Demonstrated laboratory experience in biological research
• Proficiency in common microbiology laboratory techniques
