Tier 1 Auto Supplier seeks an Account Manager within the Sales Team. Reporting to the Account Management Supervisor, this position will be responsible for leading new Business Development and execution of customer sales strategies and business planning, starting from pre RFQ to Award of Business, as well as commercial management of existing business through end of service life.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as primary commercial point of contact for assigned customer(s).
- Develop, coordinate and facilitate "Plans to Win" with cross-functional team.
- Commercial lead supporting sustainable and profitable recurring business revenue as defined by Harada Corporate goals and targets.
- Serves as Voice of the Customer (VOC); communicating and facilitating customer information and managing and completing action items.
- Responsible for preparation, submission, and presentation of all quotation and technical presentation information per customer specific requirements.
- Responsible to manage and update Corporate Sales forecasts and Booking Plans forecast, and to use and manage these tools as a primary instrument in managing customer Sales strategies and Plans to Win.
- Lead commercial representative for all commercial Program Management APQP deliverable requirements.
- Follow all Harada Corporate approved processes and communications standards.
- Leads all Harada Sales process requirements.
- Supports all Corporate monthly, annual, and special report requirements.
- Coordinates development of Annual / Mid-Terms Sales Forecasts.
- Performs Contract Review on all new Purchase Orders / Contracts.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Business, Engineering or Marketing is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Automotive Industry Account Management experience.
- Project management skills, ability to organize, facilitate, and communicate with a global cross functional and cross-cultural organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- Thinks Strategically and Takes Initiatives - Business minded/Business Acumen.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. TEAMS, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), datamining and intelligence gathering.
